Need help identifying a falling block I inherited. It is rather ornate with engraving & woodwork. On the left upper flat of the receiver near barrel it is engraved with "NURNBERG", on the top flat it has D.R.G.M. CONCURRENZ D.R.G.M., on the right upper flat it has the name H. Lechner. Under the forend on the bottom of the barrel it has 3 proof marks with the letters B, G & U (see photo).
It also has the following numbers: 7,7 m/m , 9,23 & 631.
The front sight is a fine vertical pin with two flared guards and
the sight is removable by pushing down on a pin and sliding the sight out forwards (possibly made for the purpose of sight interchangeability). I am trying to find out more about this gun and possible value for insurance purposes. Thanks in advance.
