Does anyone know where I may get an OIGEE.Berlin 4X26D scope repaired? Or if parts might be available mine has a broken elevator post screw. I may be able to bore out the head and locktight in a new screw post. I would have to figure out the thread pitch. The part pictured should be one piece not 2 pieces.

cgregg,
Based on experience, it will be difficult to find someone willing to take the repair on. I believe it would be easier if you can tell them you can supply the required materials. If you are not a hobby machinist that can figure out the thread specifications, you are likely to have a machine shop, somewhere near, that can. Once you have the specs. (Will likely be metric), you can search for threaded rod that meets them. If you are lucky enough to be able to screw the broken piece out of the part, great. If not, check with the machinist to see if he can get it out. It is possible he (or you) may have to drill it out, if it is rusted and soaking in a penetrant doesn't work, I suggest using a "tap size" twist drill of the opposite "hand" of the screw i.e., if a right-hand screw, then use a left-hand drill, turned counterclockwise. Doing this may turn the broken stub out. If it doesn't come out the part will have been drilled the proper size for tapping it to the thread specs, and you should provide the correct tap. If all this works, someone that is able to clean, purge, and reassemble the scope may take the job on. This is based on my assumption that only the screw is broken. If the other part is ruined either you or your machinist (or gunsmith) may need to duplicate it. Good luck. Someone else may have a better idea.

I had posted this info a few weeks back on the ASSRA Single Shot Forum...
It might be worth a call to one -- or all -- of these companies.

I went looking for "vintage target scope" and can also offer us these resources...
Listed alphabetically, as I've not used their services, just viewed their websites.
Cheers.
