  • WTB-Einstecklauf

Looking to purchase any of the following Einstecklauf's for a 16 gauge for my collection: Einstecklauf 6.5x52R (25-35 Win); Einstecklauf 7x57R; Einstecklauf 22 LR; Einstecklauf 22 Win Magnum. And last but not least, Einstecklauf in 8X60R. The last one to match an 8x60r drilling. I would prefer the full length versions (expensive I know) but would consider the shorter Einstecklauf in the rim fire cartridges noted above. Must be complete and in very good or better condition.

Or if someone in Germany has good contacts to help me with the import process it would be appreciated if you would contact me. thanks much, Jeff S.

You might email Fritz Berendsen who does do the importing and, I think is in Germany now. fabavb@comcast.net

In the early 1980s, Hans Zimmermann developed the first centerfire, full length einstecklaufs for hunting guns. His firm Zimmermann-Waffen is still in business, run by his son and son-in-law, and still making einstecklaufs. The website is zimmermann-waffen.info, and email is ge-lienert@t-online.de. Keller&Simmann GmbH (K&S), also makes full length ELs in centerfire hunting calibers. The website is WWW.einstecklauf.de/kaliber/kaliberFrame. Henneberger at www.henneberger.de, has full length, but small caliber centerfire and rimfire ELs. Also Waffen Jagdt at www.Frankonia.de has a variety of both full length and short as well as mid length ELs in both centerfire and rimfire calibers. Zimmerman, and maybe K&S, can make ELs in calibers requested, but I don't think they will make one in 8x60R for a normal drilling, as a drilling is not considered strong enough in general(evaluated on a case by case basis). I hope you find this helpful.

I have some in 22 mag (all Krieghoff) short (kurz) Also one 44cm one. Most are "extra" models. Though I've never been able to tell any difference accuracy wise . I have at least one for all my drillings & combination guns. Always keep one in my day pack for small game after a morning up a tree. I'm out of 22lr EL's at the moment, but may have some in the next few months.
