Wanted - Bolt for 98K

Hey All,
I am looking for a complete bolt assembly for a 98K. If anyone has a spare they are looking to sell or knows where I can get one please let me know. Here are some pics of the rifle I am trying to find one for.

Worst case, buy a beat up clunker and salvage the bolt.

If that is a standard 8x57, and you would like an ERMA .22 lr insert for it, let me know. Rick

Yes, it is a 8x57 and I would be interested in the insert. Do you have pictures, I never seen one for a rifle, only pistols. Is it just a chamber insert? What condition is it in and does it have a box or paperwork with it?

There is a K98k collectors association that you might try to locate on the internet. Parts are bought and sold, and don't forget Ebay or Gunbroker types of websites. Your rifle is a very early 1941 J.P.Sauer example. The receiver shows the Eagle 359 inspectors marking, who moved to the Walther firm right on up the road at Zella-Mehlis about the same time. In fact there are those who think some of the inspectors having the E/359 inspectors marking were already at Walther by late 1940. Remember there was more than one inspector with the same number who put their approval marking on weapons. JIM

I don't have any pictures of it just now. You can "Google" it as: ERMA-WERKE .22lr Model EL24a, Munchen-Dachau, Germany. The barrel is almost 22" long. It is a bolt action single shot that just slides into the receiver after you remove the regular bolt. I met a guy who shot one years ago and he said it was pretty accurate. The German military used them to save on ammunition when training. I was planning on asking $300 for it.
