I did some research when I first got this and it is a Grade 1 gun imported for the American market.
This really is in very high condition, a real 95%+ gun, sort of like finding a minty, all original Parker Trojan or Fox Sterlingsworth. Probably of more interest to a Sauer collector than anyone else, most entry level guns were rode hard and put away wet.
