WTS: Vollmer Feldstutzer

WTS my Vollmer Feldstutzer. The guns Serial number is 548 and it had only one owner who shot the gun. More information about this gun you will find at Jon Spencers Article about the Vollmer Feldstutzer in the Waidmannsheil #55, page 44.
The rifle comes mit 3 moulds Buholzer, Sturm and round ball mould, sizer, lubrication press and build-in starter, Aluminum ramrod, cleaning tip and patch retriever, tools like screw driver, nipple wrench and diopter key, open rear sight, several nipples, cleaning nipple with hose, wooden shooters box and wooden box with pre-load tubes. Basically the whole set to start shooting. I am asking US$1,800 but I won’t turn higher offers down

King Shoot

Last Saturday 18 members of the Penticton Shooting Sports club gathered for the 2019 King Shoot. We used the above rifle using a round ball over ffg powder. It was set up with the rear diopter. This pristine rifle shot flawlessly. Shooting freehand I was on target but not anywhere near the bullseye. The new king who was several decades younger than me is now charged with creating the 2020 target.

It was a beautiful sunny day overlooking Lake Okanagan here in southern British Columbia. After the shoot we retired to the clubhouse for bratwurst.
