My primary reason for joining the GGCA was to gain more insight into my favorite shooting sport, schüetzen. I enjoyed the article in Waidmannschei 59 by Richard Hummel on the Kettner schüetzen rifle. My first German rifle ,which I still have, was a pristine Frank Kettner running target rifle in 8.15x46. My question of Richard is the barrel counter bored from the muzzle about 15" leaving 16 or so of rifled portion & does the rifle have a 4 lever double set trigger?
    Thanks Mike

    Axel,
Would you pass on my answer to the questions posed by the gentleman? I am not sure of his correct email address.
    "Sir,
The .22 Schuetzen rifle I described in Waidmannsheil! 59 does not have a counter-bored muzzle. I include two views of the set triggers. I don't recall how to determine the number of pins in the trigger mechanism; however, these are not likely to be the 4-pin model.
    Richard Hummel"
The dst is the standard, simple Suhl sporting design.
