SUHL in the Green Heart of Germany

Go to Suhl! What a wonderful little city located in the Green Heart of Germany surrounded by little mountains and green forests! In this city you can find a very good Weapons Museum, the Suhl Archive and the Suhl Proofhouse. There are nice hotels and pensions, and wonderful restaurants. Here you can find what remains of Krieghoff, Simson, Merkel, Sauer and the other locations of firearms companies. And you will be only a very short distance from Zella-Mehlis where other famous firearms companies were located. There is a nice museum in Zella-Mehlis also. So do your homework by getting online and start making plans to visit the original Heart of the German Firearms Industry. Jim Cate
