Wisconsin Deer Hunt

My new Paul Jaeger rifle worked great! Opening morning, 7:15, one shot at about 100 yards. Nice whitetail doe.

Good eating, I envy you hunting in the snow. The season here starts Wednesday. Forecast temperature of 42 degrees.

It was 18 degrees and snowing when the sun came up. Typical for Northern Wisconsin. And, yes, good eating. I have strict instructions from my wife not to bring home any rasty swamp buck! Anyway, I'm past waiting for big racks. Now it's just the hunt.
