      Thank you Axel,

Would you have any info about the 9.5mm cartridge?

        Hello all,

As mentioned in a prior post, I made cartridges for my newly acquired rifle in 9.5 Peterlongo caliber by modifying 375 H&H brass. It took me 20 hours to make 25 pieces of brass. For those that may be interested, and those that may need to make custom cases, the following captioned pictures tells the process of how I made them.

Well done buckstix, I can appreciate that. I have about 10 hours in 10 cases for the 9 X 38R Tesching. I have 8 more in various stages of completion.

Doing these kinds of things is definitely a labor of love but, oh the internal smiles....and one on your face....when it all comes together.

Well then. ... I guess I must have a "one-of-a-kind" Peterlongo rifle, chambered in a proprietary "one-of-a-kind" Peterlongo cartridge.

The case length measured from the chambercast does respond to 60mm rather than 71mm as some of us supposed.

I find the closest commercial cartridge currently available is the 376 Steyr with 79.3g h2o capacity. Case dimensions are very similar. In fact, I will try to modify 376 brass next week.

What a gorgeous example of the gun makers art. An exquisite blend of form and function. Thank you for sharing.
