Greener style safety, take down illustration

Thanks. After careful review and reading your instructions I have it now set. Breaks at 1.75 pounds, stays when bumped hard on the pad. Also the Greener safety blocks the rifle trigger as well.
Now to reloading. The gun came with a couple boxes of 8mmx57 jr RWS brass, a selection of bullets in 159, 180, 200 and 210 grains, plus a die set and a swage to take .323 down to .3??.
I am using 3031 powder starting at 30g and working up to 38g. Lyman reloading book, 41st edition.

Question: is it safe to shoot the Ballistic Products LBC slugs through these barrels with this constriction? Choke: R @ 0.721, L @ 0.695.

I am not familiar with the Ballistic Products LBC slugs, but American commercial Foster type slugs are safe to use in any choke barrel, provided the barrel and rest of the gun is in good condition. For sabot type or solid ball type I suggest checking the maker's website. From the list of components and equipment you have, you seem to have ammo covered. If you measure a bullet sized in your die, I suspect you will find it at or close to .318". If a .323" bullet freely enters the neck of a case fired in your rifle and not resized, you can use them in your rifle.

20221230_173649.jpg Using a Briley chamber gauge I find that the chambers are not of equal length. Right chamber measures 68.36mm and the left chamber is 65mm. Recall that the marks show crown over R for repair on each tube. Not much difference but still curious. Not enough to suggest an effort to have the 65mm chambers lengthened to 70mm.
