Information on Robert Schuler needed

Hello:
I have a drilling made by Robert Schuler in 1940 - but I cannot find much information on him. Can anyone help?

Have seen a drilling by R. Schuler of Köln with 16 gauge over an 8 x 57 with a date in the late 1930s. Maker was uncertain, as I assumed this was the seller. Gun had beautiful engraving and wood.

Robert Schüler, 1873 – 1941, Ludwigstrasse 3, Köln, retailed your drilling. The gunshop existed until 1968. Photos of the gun and of all the markings and numbers on and under the barrels may allow to point to the real maker.

I didn't see anything pointing to the actual maker, in the photos. There might be something on the breach face or between the locking lugs and forearm hanger.
