German Collath Double Rifle 8x57JR

Hi guys. I got this double barrel rifle some time ago. I don't have any clue of it's value. The rifle is in beautiful condition. It appears to have been made by W. Collath and is in a 8x57JR caliber. Any information on this rifle anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. It had a small period repair on the bone trigger guard.

Ordinarily a Collath does not appeal to me. Your rifle, sir, is definitely an exception! Very nice and the condition appears to be extraordinary.

Wow I just bought a double rifle Collath myself in 9.3x80Collath. I too have not been a fan of the Collath drillings but I think their double rifles, SxS shotguns and their single shot rifles are some of the prettiest rifle made in the early1900's. I would love to have another one in my collection.
