    Heinrich Triebel - Nachfolger
    Karl Gunther, Augsburg

There was a successor & he may have been a son-in-law but the Kerner-Anson drilling was made in Suhl & looks to be from the 1930s. May have a heart stamps on it? Poor effort on images.

    Cheers,

Firearms merchant, maker, son-in-law?? The current owner typically advertises as successor to said maker. So firearms merchant Karl Günther of Augsburg would advertise as successor to Heinrich Triebel's firm, i.e., he either acquired it via purchase or as an heir and/or assign. A cursory search tends to suggest Heinrich Triebel hung out his gunmaking shingle at the turn of the 20th century and Karl Günther would have been at the helm circa 1930.

        Cheers,
