Information/Dimensions on MP40 barrel

Hello and thanks for taking time to read this. Can anyone direct me to a source of dimesnions for the WWII MP40 barrel? I am looking to turn up a 16.5 inch barrel, and would like to confirm the chamber and other dimensions of the original so I can engineer a carbine length barrel.
