Acquired a Mannlciher stocked Mauser sporter with the above name & town in Austria engraved in the Oberndorf syle floorplate. Guns is nicely engraved with no other visable marks other than 8.20 X 57 on the underside of the barrel, S stamped and what looks like a Qon the receiver. Anyone have any information on whether this was a gunsmith or a retailer or when he was in business?
