Oberndorf Barrel

Hope the deal goes through, I'm in the process of purchasing the following barrel.
It is 7.65mm, Octagon to round, full length rib, slider rear sight & nice front ramp.
On the rib is the following ( Waffenfabrik Mauser AG Oberndorf am Neckar ), I take this to mean Oberndorf Mauser Mfging on the Neckar river ?? The barrel is in great shape, seller says its been in storage since 1947, in the photos it looks well taken care off.

Any comments will be appreciated, if and when this item arrives I going to poke around for the rest of the gun - might get lucky. --- John

It would be helpful if you post photos of the marks under and on the side(if any) of the barrel. Also, measure the threads( over or under an inch is good enough).

Barrel arrived and turned out to be for a small ring Mauser. Correction - it is marked 7.6S instead of 7.65.
Anyway if you should have a 30-06 (re-barreled) Commercial Oberndorf rifle dated 82896 I have your barrel. --- John
