Savage 99 by H&H Zehner

I am new here but I figured this would be the best place to ask a few questions about my rifle. Below is a rifle that I own. It is a Savage 99 that was customized by H&H Zehner out of Frankfort, Germany. I have seen a few Zehner rifles made with Mausers online, but this is the first Savage 99 that I have found anywhere. The rifle is truly beautiful and a work of art. I have provided pictures for you to view for yourself. The questions I have here. (1) Has anybody heard of any other Savage 99s done by Zehner? (2) Approximately what would you say the value of this rifle is? Basically, there is nothing to go on for me to insure it. I did bring the rifle to Collectors Firearms out of Houston, which is a big collector outlet here in Texas. None of the people there seen or heard of anything like it in terms of Zehner customizing a Savage 99. They gave me an estimate but I would like to hear your input. Some of the people at Collectors Firearms are long time employees, and they have dealt more with more Zehner rifles than anybody else I can find in the US. I thank you ahead of time for any info.

With nothing to go on, but a "gut feeling", I would say your rifle was built for an American service member( likely an officer) post WW2. Savage Mod 99 rifles were popular with Americans at the time and it seems reasonable that someone would have his favorite rifle worked over when he had access to first class work at a reasonable price.I would also guess that the owner was one that wasn't used to hunting with a scope, otherwise one would have likely been mounted in claw mounts.
