71-84 Rear Sight ?

I have purchased 2 more 71-84s, all original as far as the metal goes excepting the barrel bands. Both have had the stocks & loading tubes cut-down. As follows a 1887 Danzig # 1051 and an 1888 Spandau # 2184.
I'm in the process of cleaning up the metal but need to know how to remove the the pop up leaf & ladder. Is that a punch / threaded pin holding them on? Any instructions would be helpful & thank you. --- John

First remove the small screw that keeps the ladder spring in place. Then drive the ladder spring towards the muzzle. The end under the ladder will pop up when it clears the ladder. Remove the spring. Then drive out the small pin holding the folding leaf in place.
