  • Krempel Pistol

This pistol was made for Erich Krempel who won the silver medal in the 1936 Olympics. Krempel's home town is celebrating his 100th birthday next year and the city museum wants to display this pistol and is also interested in purchasing it. The pistol was taken by an American soldier as a war prize in 1945. Pictures of the gun were brought to the Utah Gun Collectors show some years ago. A reward is being offered for information leading to the location and examination of the pistol. Call 435-979-9723 or email sales@germanguns.com

Does anyone know if Krempel's pistol was located and if it was purchased by the museum?

The last word on the gun is that the present owner would be willing to trade for a new Boxster. If anyone has one they could donate, let me know. A similar pistol that belonged to the sixteenth place winner in the same Olympics, went for a bit over five thousand Euros on eGun a few weeks ago.
