My internet searches only came up with a pair of pistols by Wichmann with no information. All markings are shown in the pictures. Thanks in advance.

fishead,
Not having the information you requested, I have been watching your posting since the second of May. Normally, we study cartridge firing guns, most of which were made after the first German proof law of 1891. Consequently, a large amount of our information comes from proof marks, which are not present on your gun. This leads to other information, such as possible age and location of the builder. This is an explanation, as much as an apology for not being able to help. In spite of these older guns being outside our normal subject of study, we do have a few members that happen to have a good bit of knowledge of European history including former names of older cities and regions. Maybe this will encourage one of these members to answer your request. If none of us is able to answer your request, please don't take it as a lack of interest or desire to help you. We will do our best to help if you request it in the future.
Mike
