I decided I needed a knife to go with my custom rifle, a carved Ackermannchen.

I decided to get a couple of accessories to go with my Kettner rifle, and I found this very well carved Ackermannchen knife. I've gotten varying opinions on the figure. I think he's playing an accordion, some say he's wearing a cartridge belt, but either way it's a unique knife to go with a very nice rifle.

I've done the same, purchased a knife, or two, to go with my German rifles. None of mine are nearly so nice as yours, that's stunning.

Given the period the figure appears to represent I would suspect he's playing a squeeze box rather than wearing a cartridge belt.
