This Merkel model 202E proofed 1939 Is 12 ga . It is a two barrel set with the shorter barrel having rifle inserts and quick disconnect sling swivels which have both been lost . The longer barrels are bored and choked tight and have been little used.
I would like to replace the lost sling swivels and would appreciate any suggestions as to where they may be found. I suspect that someone may have this type swivel in a pile of miscellaneous parts if I were so lucky.
Does anyone have a thought about. finding replacement rifle inserts for these barrels . Do not have any caliber in mind but would like something fitting for the age of the gun but which is currently off the shelf available.
