I was cleaning the clutter in my workshop/gun room & came across this brochure, as I recall, when I first enquired many years ago the price was beyond my budget. Are they still in business?

This takes me back a ways, so consider my memory. I also remember this offer and I recall that when we visited the Merkel factory about twenty years ago, they had bought the remnants of the Erma works and had some of these actions in the pile. I had been quite interested in getting a traditional target rifle made for me. I contacted the US importers about it and was quite discouraged by the price. I also sort of recall that Joerg Schilling, the gun maker of Zella-Mehlis, had a hand in it. I never saw or heard of any being made or sold. I hope some of this is correct.
Don't forget, the prize for this year's "drawing" is an original Mod 1 Aydt ( outside extractor), with German stock, all three sights and a box of loaded ammo. Someone can have it for a $5 ticket or 6 chances for $25. Granted, it doesn't have the Tiroler stock and heavy engraving, but it is an actual "using" rifle and you can't beat the price. It's ok if you miss it because someone else won it, but you won't be able to live with yourself if you miss it because you didn't buy tickets.

Thanks Mike & Fred
I have several Schuetzens but always need one more. I do not have an Aydt, so having never won anything in my life, I still plan to enter.
