  • Drilling front sight

If I were to remove and measure the front sight on my T & S drilling is it possible someone might have a lower, (shorter from top to bottom) front sight I could purchase or trade for? It appears to be the fairly common for the time, early 1900's, front sight that slips in from the muzzles and has a retaining screw in front of the sight....I think.

    Vic,
Recknagle has what you are looking for and NECG carries their products in US. I suggest a "Partridge type", then you can file it to whatever height you need. They could likely provide a new rear sight leaf as well.

Mike, I know I thanked you but either I hit the wrong button or the post didn't come up. Anyway, I checked the NECG site and will pull my front sight to see if they're a match. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
