Can you please post photos of all the proofmarks and numbers that are on the underside of the barrels and on their flats? Those marks will allow closer dating of the gun. To me 1933 seems to be much to late, more likely pre-WW1, but the proofmarks will show. It seems to be #2 gun of a pair.
The Patent 1933 might be a date, or it may simply be a patent number, thereby causing confusion. On the other hand, 1933 also appears on the trigger guard. This illustrates the need to see the proof marks to be sure.
Mike
IMHO "1933" is merely the serial number, as it is stamped into two of the usual places, foreend iron and triggerguard. The triggerguard location may be unusual for a German gun, but this placement is common on British shotguns. My Spanish AYA XXV has the serial number repeated/engraved there too. We need the proofmarks!!
Here is the view of our Bohemian expert: nice piece. 1933 is the serial number, the owner needs to take the barrel off to search for the proof marks as it was already written by somebody in the forum.
As the signature is still H(einrich) Roedl, I would date it in the window 1895-1900 or to be more general in the 1890ties.

Same reason: The words " H.Roedl in Prag" and "Sicher" are in German, so the gun was most likely made before the K&K Austro-Hungarian empire ended in 1918. Bohemia up to then was part of the Austrian half.
Well, got some numbers from barrels but not have pictures yet. In the middle it is "15˙2 2 74.96."
And on the barrels "LD.§ 3152 151.97". I hope that this helps a little.
§-this mark is some kind of partially four leaf clover or something.
Even without photos I can tell now: According to the two proofhouse ledger numbers your gun was proofed twice, in 1896 and in 1897, so Jon's "Bohemian expert" is right. I can not make out anything else from your description. Still waiting for photos.
It couldn't date post 1900 as Josef Wenisch was H. Roedl's successor. I would guess this is one of the last offerings by H. Roedl and I'd say more than likely Weipert sourced, possibly G. Bittner. But the marks will prove it out. I don't think it experienced proof twice but was commenced in late 1896 and completed in 1897.
That might be H. Roedl's extractor patent DRP #73742 for 1893?
Then there's O. Roedl of Komotau(Chomutov), Böhmen.
If I have my marks correct it experienced proof in April 1936, has EES in a heart(Emil Eckoldt) as well as LK adjacent to it and some script letters near the forend lug. Emil Eckoldt's patent but interesting that it has pins.
