Hey all- Just thought I'd drop a quick line in to thank all those involved in creating this forum. And, yes John I'm working on the article I really enjoy you folks and our common love of German guns. I live in Sturgis, South Dakota. I am a gunstock maker for Dakota Arms and have my own, (small) shop where I mainly checker for several manufacturers, stock a few guns and learn engraving. Looking forward to this site. Jesse!!

        JesseK,
Welcome to the forum, I'm looking forward to your comments. I met Don Allen and Norma at an IWA in Germany, what a nice guy, his loss was a blow to the whole shooting world as well as Dakota Arms.

Welcome Jesse. It's nice seeing another craftsman has joined the ranks. You've probably noticed that we at times get into the technical tidbits where it's nice to hear from those with "hands-on" expertise.

Buchsemann- Sorry I can't put the two little dots above the U. I don't have alot of hands on expertise on the computer. Anyway, good to hear your welcome. I enjoy the technical tidbits of this stuff. It too draws me in. Thanks everyone. JesseK

                    JesseK,
I can't put the umlaut (two little dots) either, being computer illiterate, so I usually just put an "e" after the "u". I don't think it makes much difference, I'm sure he's glad to hear from you anyway.
