    Hey Vic,

Meffert Vierling is a bit of a project piece for the winter. Need to mount a period scope (the older eyes thing) and get set up for reloading the 5.6X35R Vierling. Find the Meffert Dural Vierlings, not all that uncommon, have nice balance. Will be interesting to see where the 8X57IR and 5.6X35R pattern to the same POA, figuring 50 yards. Hope to post a few pictures in the not too distant future.

    Happy Holidays All!,

    Mark

That is one I will definitely look forward to seeing pictures of and reading about. While a vierling is on my bucket list I doubt it will ever be removed from the bucket. I don't know that for the US the combination of rifle cartridges could be bettered.

        Hello
I don’t particularly believe in research by means of serial number but as there is a thread asking for Immanuel Meffert serials here is a Drilling with serial 55032 – 16/16-9,3. Rifle barrel lacks Nitro marking. It accepts RWS 9,3x72R ammo.

Question: was the crown N a common marking with the load marking for shot?

I’m not the owner of the thing.

        Kind regards
