Interesting Doppelbüchse mit Stabil Verschluß with O. Geyger's name at Mr. Krause's site:

        http://www.altejagdwaffen.de/Details...&tx_fwwcat_pi1[pointer]=1&cHash=ab44dd875c
        Nr. 196

The engraving on the fore lug is seen from time to time. Also note the bump on the forend iron

I'm curious as to the name atop the tubes as I don't think it to be O. Geyger & Co. Berlin

        Kind Regards,

        Raimey

The owner should be cautioned not to use 22LR ammo,in spite of a rechamber job being very easy. Modern LR ammo is too high pressure for regular use and rifling twist will be too slow to stabilize 40gr bullet.I would reccommend 22Long standard vel. or CB caps, or 22Short standard vel. or CB caps. Modern CCI CB caps are surprisingly accurate and powerful.

The Doppelbüchse mit Stabil Verschluß pictured above is an excellent examble of Rosenbouket mit Druck Englisch engraving.
