  • Set Trigger Drawing

Does anyone have an illustration of the workings of a German six lever or six element set trigger? I am not sure what they are called in German but I was recently in a discussion about one and have no reference about them and how they work. The seem to be fairly complex and any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Diz

    Diz,
I seem to remember an article in an old Gun Digest that had a 6 lever set trigger in it. It must have been in the 1970s( 73-81). "Thousand Pardons", in advance, if I'm wrong.

      Hello Diz, Mike:

This is what I have... It's an image from the "HBSA Lecture on Schuetzen Rifles" from back in year 2000 that is out in the public domain in PDF file form; and you should be able to find it on Google for more info (include the letters "PDF" at the tail end of your search string).

Old No7, thanks much for posting. I looked every way I could think of but never found this. I think I can figure it out from here. Thanks again, Diz

          Diz,
The most complicated one shown is a 4 lever/element set trigger( Vierfacher Stecher).

Mike, I am doing the same. Need to expand the drawing a little to see the interactions better but good stuff. Thanks, Diz

I'm trying it as well. I've never heard of a 6 lever but that doesn't carry much water. The 4 lever is a piece of craftsmanship if not a work of art!
