Searching for information on this forum

Being a new member to this forum, the main reason I joined was due to recently acquiring a Haenel-K.K.Sport German Schuetzen-style rifle. I was hoping to find as much information on the rifle as possible. One of the benefits of a forum is the ability to search the archives for information on the subject of interest. Unfortunately the search function does not work. After discussing it with the forum administrator, he suggested I post a possible workaround for those of you interested in searching the forum. Assuming you run internet searches using Google, although not ideal, you can also use Google to search this forum to a limited extent. Following are some examples when I searched for info on the rifle.

Using Google copy or typed in the forum URL followed by the search subject or word/words:
1) www.germanguns.com, “haenel”
2) www.germanguns.com, “haenel kk sport”
3) www.germanguns.com, “haenel-kksport”
4) www.germanguns.com, “kk sport”
5) www.germanguns.com, "haenel-k.k.sport"

Search #1 yielded some info on Haenel but nothing on the Haenel-K.K.Sport rifle, therefore one has to be more specific.
Search #2 resulted in 4 “hits” on the forum. When clicking on each link I then needed to use my computer’s “find” function to narrow down to the specific information.
Search #3 – no results.
Search #4 – no results.
Search #5 – Same results as search 2
