  • Scope Repair

I have an old Kahles scope that had one bump too many. Sadly, it goes on my Mauser type A so I need to get it repaired. I’ve heard complaints and comments on two of the big names (expensive and very long wait). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Talk to Larry at L&K Scope Repair. He may be able to help you.

He has repaired and cleaned an old Pecar and a Weaver 330 M8 for me. He does do limited work on European scopes. I called him about a 30s era Hensoldt and he said he could clean and seal it, but couldn't replace the original post reticle. He could go back with a thin crosshair, but not the original type post.

You might look at Iron Sight Inc, (www.ironsightinc.com ), they replaced the reticle in a Nickel for me ( had to use x hair, they don't have German reticles either). The price was $105 plus $15 for the reticle. The lead time is a year, but the advert. says they have worked on Kahles scopes.
