  • Need Your Opinion

Hi all, so what do you think of this one:

    http://www.gunsinternational.com/det...n_id=100267520

Looks like a nice one, also looks like the stock has been refinished.

    Worth the asking price?

    Any comments would be wonderful.

    Thanks!!!!

Do I like it....a resounding yes. It is certianly the correct bore. I agree with you about the refinishing of the wood....which is a very nice piece. I like the basket weave butt plate and I can't tell if it is cracked at the heel....yes,no?

Is it worth the asking price? For me I think it's a bit high, maybe 2-4 hundred....but then I've paid more for firearms others thought were too high so that opinion is worth what you paid for it....lol!

The description is BS! It is not a "guild gun" (there is no such animal!), but was made by Wilhelm Moritz (not"Wilk"), Gothaer Str.6, Zella-Mehlis! It is a box-lock action with Kerner's improvement over the original Anson&Deeley design: Top-linked sears that improve leverage and make the gun safer. See the screws at the top rear of the action body.
