Unique Dry Fire Snap Caps?

jillandsam303, I have never seen snap caps in those calibers and that's not to say that they are not made. What I do for the odd ones is to pop out the primer on a fired case then take a pencil eraser or some other piece of hard rubber and grind it to fit in the primer pocket. I usually just press them in tight and if they need replacing it's an easy matter to press it out and put a new one in. I have made spring loaded ones out of fired cases but it is a lot more complicated and not much better. Others here may have better information or another idea. Thanks, Diz

Sam,
If you are careful, you can lower the hammers on an empty chamber, by pulling the triggers with the barrels almost open. To get both the right hand shotgun and rifle barrels, you have to drop one, close the barrels a little bit, manipulate the selector then pull the front trigger again. This way, you won't need snap caps.

My method is to pop the primer on a case (usually one I've screwed up), coat a flat surface with some of Brownells' release agent, fill the primer pocket with some hot glue, and hurry and press the base onto the prepared flat surface. Sometimes a little trimming is needed, but they seem to work fine.
