German hat with U.S.army badge

I've decided I want to wear my old army marksmanship badge on my hat. Is that completely inappropriate?

I doubt that the GGCA has any rule against it, maybe you should ask the Army.

I guess I don't much care what the army might have to say, it's my badge, I earned it and of the various badges and ribbons they gave me that expert marksman badge is the only one I'm proud of.

I'm sure you earned them, be proud of them too. Also, be proud of your service, we appreciate it.

Some years ago, I was at a Schuetzenfest in Germany and met a gent who was wearing his USA qualification badge on his 'uniform,' It's your shooting award, so wear it proudly.
