Compatibility of German and US Rotary Front Rings?

I've wondered about the above for quite some time, but never had the opportunity to try it. Would a Leupold/Redfield front ring fit in a Recknagel/ERA rotary base, and vice versa. I'm sure that someone in this group must have the answer to this question.

No, they are not interchangable, no way. The German locking "Ts" are both wider, longer and thicker by about .5 mm in all dimensions.
