    Deane,
Welcome, we are glad to have you with us, we all would be interested in Photos of your 9x57R, as well as your hunting experiences in Germany. My first tour there started in 1971, with a 1970 hunting license, I can't tell if you had returned by the time I got there. I was in Wuerzburg, BTW.

      Thanks Mike,
I was in Germany 60-65, 67-68, 70-72, 75-77, only was able to hunt in latter two tours, mostly around Schwabach, Ansbach . Love my Drilling, will see about pictures soon. Hoping to connect with members in the northwest. Thanks again, Deane

        Deane,
I was there 71-74, and 76-82, so we were there at the same time, at least a couple years. One of my main hunting friends had reviers not too far from Ansbach, near the small villages of Kottenheim and Hurfeld. In my second tour I was president of the North Bavarian Land Council of the Rod and Gun Clubs. The Ansbach club was in the Land Council, so I went there pretty often. We ( GGCA) have members everywhere, so I'm sure you will contact someone.
