      Herbert,

Fantastic rifle you have. Where are you located?

I certainly cannot add to anything already posted. Maybe only my opinion. It sounds as though you have already decided to reload for the original chambering. With such a fantastic rifle I greatly encourage it. As someone who often works on these old rifles, but am far from an expert, I would implore you to not modify the rifle in anyway. That rifle is absolutely beautiful.

I would gladly purchase it from you should you not want to deal with the reloading!

        Nathaniel,

I am located in North America. Looked at your website, you are very skilled to do such fabulous metal work. Very impressed.

Sharing some pics of this rifles little brother. H. Barella in 9.3x62....very similar but for the wedge and cross bolt.

Not sure why Barella did not use cross bolt or a wedge.

Man what a gorgeous rifle. Perhaps not pertinent to the subject but does anyone know who could duplicate a stock like that?

                    Herbert,

Thank you very much. If your ever in the neighborhood of Ohio, please look me up.

Sharps, I have a few people that can work up either a semi inlet (duplicated blank) or finished stock. If I can be of assistance, feel free to email me. Nathaniel at myersarms.com

Nathaniel, I assumed you were located in Germany/Europe. I am located in Canada, can you purchase guns from Canada? not sure how the process works. The exchange rate is very favorable to purchase from Canada.

                            Herbert,

Those are two very nice and interesting rifles for sure.

I also think we're very fortunate to have Axel in our association as he has a wealth of information pertaining to these matters.

                            Thanks for posting.

                            Regards,

                            Mark
