Good morning to all of you !
As a new member of this forum I may introduce myself briefly. Beeing in the late fifties and living near Munich, I am a convinced hunting enthusiast of elder 98 bolt action rifles. But I don't collect them, I start to learn about all the details and secrets involved and would just invest in useable rifles for our and African hunting purposes. Especially bolt action rifles used in the former German colonies are my personal favorites of interest. Just a couple of days ago I invested in the debris of a Mauser Oberndorf 1900 System with halfstock, barrel missing, which turned out to be a transitional action type in splendid condition. During my web search I found the thread http://www.germanguns.com/upload/sho...-Rifle-(c-1912)
in this forum with uttermost knowledge about transitional actions I could imagine . Therefore I highly appreciate beeing a new member of your Forum, filled with knowledge and experience. Thank you in advance and
