image.jpgI have use these for a few years but never could find out much on them. I have a sauer combination gun that is a 70mm x 16gauge over a 8x57JRS, number 650xx . On the side reads J.P.SAUER & SOHN A.G.ECKERNFORDE. I am looking for date of manufacture and model. I think this gun is only a few decades old but am not sure. Photobucket is not working for me tonight,pics will follow. Thanks

Welcome, we are happy to have you with us. Your gun is surely post WW2, The Eckernforede address didn't come about until the 1950s. If you can post photos of the proofmarks on the underside of the barrels, maybe we can date it closer for you.
