Joined the forum yesterday and the overall association last weekend at Louisville. Have always been fascinated with European hunting arms; spent 12 years in Germany in the Army a long time ago and was fortunate enough to be able to hunt over there. If the snow clears, will take my current favorite Austrian drilling to the range next week to sight in for this spring. Its a Ludwig Borovnik drilling, made in Ferlach in 1969. 20 gauge SxS and underneath a .222 Remington Magnum.

Glad to be part of the group.

    French52,
Welcome, glad to have you with us.Between 1971 and 1982, I spent 9 years there, both times in Wuerzberg. When were you there and where? We may have crossed paths.I'm looking forward to hearing about your guns and hunting stories.
