Hi Folks, decided to register after searching web for info on some recent acquisitions of older guns from an estate type sale where all the stuff had been in storage for about 50 years. Poor or no climate control conditions 10 miles from Gulf of Mexico did them no favors which is sad. Posted something in the schuetzen section of one of them and guess it’s probably the worst one I ended up with that was once a nice rifle. Got a unmarked maker, I think Austrian cape gun with 16ga/?45 bore, buffalo eureka French rifle, Win 1886 plus more but just a couple that may pertain here. Don’t have much in them but none are in collectible condition. Wife said, Just couldn’t let them go could you....
