Merkel 303E date of manufacture

I bought a Merkel 303E O/U in 20ga serial number 56xxx. I sent a couple of emails to Merkel to try to find out the date of Manufacture, however, they did not respond.

Is there a list anywhere of Merkel serial numbers by date of manufacture?

The Merkel Team answered my emails! They confirmed the gun is a Model 303E made in 1969, bbls 71cm, choke 1/2-1/1/, gauge 20/76.
