    New Friends,

I'm brand new here & found the forum by pure accident, while seeking a HAMMER DRILLING or CAPE GUN for hunting Red deer, Wild Boar, wolves & small game in Eastern Europe. - I'm glad to have found you.

I'm a fan of German Combination guns of the late 19th Century & Pre-WWI era.

I'm a retired Army Mike Papa, with considerable service in USAREUR. = Mostly Landstul & "K-Town". - I spent considerable time hunting Hirsch & Wildschwein around the BRD/Czech borderlands, 1969-72.

    Tex,
Welcome, we are happy to have you with us. We have similar interests and experiences. I spent 71-74 and 76-82 in Wuerzburg and hunted Hirsch/Wildschwein/ Gams/Reh/ Hasen/Fasen/ Rebhuener/ and Enten in the Spessarts and all over Northern and some of Southern Bavaria. Let us hear about your guns and experiences. Also you should join the German Gun Collectors Assn., if you haven't already done so.
    Mike
