    FoxFirearms,
I usually don't estimate the value of a gun I don't have "in hand". Also I might be interested in it, and it would be a conflict of interest to opine on the value, in this context ( as opposed to making an offer).

Mike Ford. I got a digital caliper...the inner portion of the chamber is .470 and the outer portion (where the rim would sit) is .540. Hope this helps a little. PM me an offer. If it's reasonable I will accept...I am an FFL dealer. Thanks.

Cast the chamber, slug the bore and, hopefully remove all doubt.

          FoxFirearms,
The .470" verifies Axel's opinion of the family of cartridges. What is left now is to determine the case length and bullet diameter.

I hope I convey this properly - Bore .435, Neck .465, Throat .450. My gunsmith said the caliber is 10.7x57R.

                FoxFirearms,
Considering that dimensions of a chamber cast can not match precisely the dimensions of the cartridge ( the chamber has to be larger, to allow the cartridge to chamber), plus it is not always easy to see where the "neck" area ends and the throat starts, as well as how much allowance to make for rim thickness; I believe the rifle is chambered for the 11.15x 65R LK Express. This was the most popular of the LK series cartridges. It has a head diameter of 11.9mm( about .469") and bullet diameter of 11.2mm ( about .441"). That being said, if Axel opined that it is 11.15x60R LK Express, I would not argue with his opinion. Actually, it doesn't make a lot of difference anyway, you won't find ammo at the Mall Mart or the local Hook and Bullet. You will have to make the ammo, and you can just make it to fit.
