Time To Create Our Next (2013) GGCA Calendar!
Dig out you most beautiful German/Austrian sporting gun, and send high resolution electronic photos and a few sentences about the gun to our main office at sales@germanguns.com. We want to find 12 month’s worth of exciting photography to create our own calendar. With 500+ members, we just know there are eye-catching examples in gun safes across the land! Share with us. Your anonymity will be protected.
We will select 12 and the surplus worthy pictures will be kept for appearances in Waidmannsheil! and perhaps Der Waffenschmied. Multiple submissions accepted. All GGCA members will receive a calendar free of charge.
Have you approved of our first two calendars? We analyzed our selections and here’s the math. We choose 9 double rifles during the first two cycles, 7 shotguns, 4 single barrel rifles, 3 Drillings, 3 Schuezten rifles, 2 double rifle Drillings, and 1 Vierling. Obviously many categories could stand more representatives. Here’s your chance. Strike a blow for equal treatment!
Emulate the artful photography found in our Journals and in places like Double Gun Journal. The quality of the photography will be one of the criteria considered. Submit your pictures by Labor Day 2012 so that we can complete the calendar before 2013.
