Our Vision Our Association was founded in 1998 with the vision to preserve the history of German hunting and sporting guns and their makers for us and for future generations; and to share this history with like-minded people in the United States, in Germany and the entire world. Our Mission To achieve this, we established a permanent non-profit organization guided by democratic principles which welcomes members from all over the world. We collect and share information on sporting arms from the German-speaking areas of Europe; from the earliest flintlocks to the modern hunting and sporting guns. In addition, we collect information about the rich heritage of the German hunting and target shooting traditions.
